What brought me to yoga?
A good friend was seeing a therapist that recommended yoga to help with her depression and stress asked me to join her. I was dealing with my own medical challenges so this thing called yoga couldn’t hurt. My once a week class commitment turned into 2 then 3 and so on.
Yoga became an integral part of a healing journey that afforded me a place to move, grow stronger and enjoy life in a way I couldn’t have imagined. Within a few years I realized I wanted to become a teacher in order to help others with similar struggles of all ages.
I currently teach 12 classes a week of which include: Yoga for Parkinson’s, Yoga for Seniors and Yoga for Everyone. These classes include movements and balancing each individual can customize to accommodate their specific needs with mindfulness.
I am grateful to love what I do and those I work with. It is an honor and blessing work with great individuals that serve as my everyday teachers.
